Gekatex reveals their expansion and development plans on new product introductions in January 2009.

Delicate manufacturing processes require more and more sophisticated solutions when it comes to protect their processes from dust and pollution in their working environment. 

TACK GLOVE

Gekatex SAS has an answer to those requirements.  As of January 2009 the company will launch special sealed and single packed TackGloves.  Those tacky gloves are made from a ZERO LINT pure knitted polyester fabric with a medium tack impregnation level.Their ends are cut by lazer and the gloves are welded in order to avoid any dust particle release from the sides of the glove !  The impregnation levels and qualities of Gekatex SAS technology are worldwide known within the various industries and our surface treatment systems will enjoy this complementary product all have been waiting for !  Each glove will be individually packed to ensure maximum protection before usage !

No risk for hands touching the surface, clean individual packed Tack Gloves, no residue release on the surface, a size of 20x24 cm that fits any size of hand on the shopfloor !

GEKADRAPE

Barrier Curtains will be available in special low lint fabrics impregnated with unique tacky formulations allowing the substance to be completely consumed in case of fire.  The release of toxic gases has been avoided thanks to the usage of special water based impregnation methods avoiding usage of resins and oils.  The barrier curtains are available in rolls of 90 cm width x 50 meters length.  The curtains will protect the paint lines and other areas where dust control is an issue.  Applications are within the nuclear, automotive, plastic components and electronics market segments.

WAFFLED TACK RAGS

Heavy wrinkled bulky tack rags will be available as of January 2009 for sale into the European market.  Based on cotton gauze these new tack rags will be each individually packed and compete with other tack rags within the European market !  Our new impregnation machines now installed worldwide in our manufacturing locations ensure latest and best impregnation technology and competitive positioning !
